Sochi woman arrested for 12 days for publishing banned symbols

In Sochi, the court ordered 12 days of administrative arrest 46-year-old local resident for posting on the social network photos with the symbols of the organization banned in Russia. This was reported in the GU MIA of Russia in the Krasnodar Territory.

According to the police, the publication was revealed by employees of the Center for Countering Extremism of the regional governorate. It was established that the woman posted the corresponding images on her page on the Internet.

The precinct commissioners of the Adler district police drew up an administrative protocol in respect of the composition under part 1 of Article 20.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. This provision provides for liability for public display of prohibited symbols.

The court considered the case materials and found the woman guilty. As a punishment, she was ordered administrative arrest for 12 days.

Earlier it was reported that the driver of the truck died after a collision near the tunnel on Resort Avenue in Sochi.
