The entrepreneur issued loans secured by equipment and jewelry, but was not in the registers of microfinance organizations and pawnshops
The Prosecutor’s Office of the Kirov district of Tomsk conducted an audit of compliance with the legislation regulating credit and banking activities and the financial services market.
It turned out that an individual entrepreneur who was not in the registers of microfinance organizations, pawnshops or credit consumer cooperatives issued money to the population on the security of equipment and jewelry. The reception was conducted in the non-residential premises of an apartment building on the street of Education in Tomsk.
The prosecutor's office made a submission and opened a case on an administrative offence.
After the intervention of the supervisory authority, the illegal pawnshop activity was stopped, and the entrepreneur was fined 40 thousand rubles.
