In Tomsk detained a gang of car fronters: four scammers received more than 750 thousand rubles of insurance payments for two staged accidents. The leader of the group provoked an accident, after which one of the accomplices - a 19-year-old girl - was hastily transferred to the wheel and assured the inspectors that she was driving the car. So the scammers misled both drivers and traffic police officers. The organizer himself was nearby, prompted and “supported psychologically” the girl, confusing the rest of the participants.
For the scam, they specially bought a Japanese car, issued OSAGO and made accomplices into the policy. Everything looked authentic until Tomsk operatives intervened. The gang was detained with the power support of Regardie. The organizer, a 29-year-old boy, and one of the girls have already been charged. The investigation is looking at how many more episodes are hiding behind this scheme.
