In the Tver region convicted a man who cleaned the card of a friend and spent money on alcohol

In the Konakovsk city court of the Tver region sentenced against a man accused under paragraph “d” of part 3 of article 158 of the criminal code.

In May 2026, in the village of Zavidovo, the defendant, who was in a state of alcoholic intoxication, took advantage of the fact that his friend fell asleep, took the victim’s phone and transferred 26,000 rubles to his card through the bank application. This money was spent on alcohol and food.

The defendant pleaded guilty. He was sentenced to 1.6 years of suspended imprisonment with a probation period of 1 year.
