In the Vyborg district of the Leningrad region, law enforcement officers began an investigation after a fatal road accident. This was reported in the press service of the GU MIA of Russia in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.

On October 24, at 16:10, at the 15th kilometer of the Blue Lakes-Polyany highway, a 64-year-old motorist at the wheel of a Mercedes lost control of the car. As a result, the car flew into a ditch and crashed into trees. The driver died on the spot.
