In the Yaroslavl region, the police had to arrange a chase with shooting

In the Yaroslavl region, traffic police officers used weapons to stop a drunk driver and a debauched passenger. This is reported by the press service of the MIA.

The shooting took place in Uglich. On Kirov Street in this historic city, traffic police officers noticed a BMW car with windshield tinting. The tone lover was ordered to stop. But the Boomer driver decided to break away.

In the process of trying to escape from the pursuit, the driver repeatedly violated traffic rules, did not see traffic lights, exceeded speed, drove under prohibitive signs.

The crew of the traffic police, who caught up with the lover of speed, repeatedly urged the driver to show civil responsibility, law-abidingness and stop the car voluntarily. But no reason. The owner of the "boomer" persistently pressed the slipper on the floor.

In accordance with the law “On police” motor inspectors used service weapons. They fired a warning shot, and then targeted the wheels. On the shot tires, the rider turned to the countryside and only there stopped. Then he tried to escape in the direction of the forest. The police showed skill and had better physical shape. As a result, the rider was caught up.

The offender was a local resident born in 2003, in respect of whom administrative materials were drawn up under Part 3 of Article 12.8, Part 1 of Article 19.3, Part 4 of Article 12.15, Part 2 of Article 12.25, Part 2 of Article 12.37, Part 3.1 of Article 12.5 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. The man was sentenced to administrative arrest for 10 days.

As reported in the release, the detained passenger of a foreign car, a 24-year-old from birth, was drunk, behaved inadequately, expressed obscene abuse and hit the policeman in the head area. In respect of him, a protocol was drawn up under Part 1 of Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, as well as a criminal case was initiated by the investigator of the investigative bodies on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The defendant was detained in accordance with Art. 91 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation, the issue of electing a preventive measure is being resolved.
