In the Zaporozhye region found ammunition in the forest belt

In Chernihiv district of Zaporozhye region, ammunition was found in the forest belt - this was reported to the duty unit of the Chernihiv police station.

During the inspection, law enforcement officers seized 847 units of dangerous items: 840 cartridges of 5.45 caliber, 5 grenades and 2 shots for a grenade launcher. All found ammunition handed over to the competent services – they will be destroyed in the prescribed manner.

Systematic work continues on the territory of the region to suppress the illegal trafficking of weapons and explosives.

The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Zaporozhye region urges citizens to immediately report suspicious items to the police and in no case try to touch or move them on their own.
