In Akimov district, the court considered the case of an attempt to bribe the traffic police inspector. In the dock was a 47-year-old man from the regional center.

It all happened on May 10, 2026. The driver was driving a Volkswagen Jetta under the influence. On the route R-280 he was stopped by car inspectors. The man did not want to be responsible for the violation and decided to negotiate: put 3,000 rubles in the glove compartment of the service car - UAZ Patriot - in the hope that the inspector would close his eyes to drunk driving.

But the plan did not work: the traffic police officer refused to take the money and immediately called the investigative team.

In court, the man fully admitted guilt and repented. As a result, the court appointed him a fine of 50 thousand rubles. And those 3,000 that the driver tried to give as a bribe, seized in favor of the state.
