In Vladimir, Rostovchanka received a real sentence for fraud

She was convicted of participating in an organized criminal group that cheated people on the phone. The Frunze district court of Vladimir on October 21, 2026 found her guilty of two attempted fraud and one completed deception with major damage.

Since the beginning of 2025, the woman rented apartments in different districts of Vladimir and ensured the work of SIM-boxes. Through this equipment, other members of the group called residents of Vladimir and Orel region and reported false information to lure money. An elderly woman from the Orel region under the influence of deception transferred through the postal service more than 190 thousand rubles. Two more residents of Vladimir could have suffered, but the fraud was not completed for reasons beyond the control of the defendant.

In court, she admitted guilt in part and repented. The court appointed her 3 years 6 months of imprisonment in a general regime correctional colony. The civil claim of the victim for compensation of material damage for 191 thousand rubles was satisfied. The sentence has not yet entered into force.
