In the Vladimir region for nine months solved all the recorded murders

In the Vladimir region in January-September 2026 registered 34 murders. This is less than in the same period last year. At the same time, law enforcement agencies managed to solve all crimes of this category, the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia reported.

For nine months, the region also recorded 18 cases of serious harm to health, leading to the death of victims, and 11 rapes. Disclosure in all these categories was 100%: there were no criminal cases suspended due to the failure to identify suspects.

In total, investigators of the region investigated more than 450 serious and especially serious crimes. In addition, the investigation of 19 criminal cases on 24 crimes of the past years has been completed. Among them are murders, attempted murder and rape committed in 2006.

Two old crimes were solved thanks to modern methods of genetic examination, which are used by forensic investigators.
