In the evening of October 23, at about 21:00, an accident occurred at the 81st kilometer of the Kempolovo-Gubanitsa-Kalitino-Vara-Tosno-Shapki highway. 58-year-old driver “Kia Sorento”, en route from Kaushta to Gorki, hit a pedestrian.
The man was walking along the edge of the road in a passing direction and suddenly ran onto the roadway right in front of the car. A pedestrian injured in an accident died on the spot from his injuries.
