The Novgorod court sentenced a man who used the card of a deceased person. The details of the criminal case were reported by the Joint Press Service of the Novgorod Region Courts.

According to the investigation, a drunken Novgorod citizen spent 4.5 thousand rubles from someone else’s bank card. The attacker bought products and goods in chain stores. The application to the police was filed by the heir of the card holder.

The accused voluntarily appeared guilty and fully compensated the damage caused to the victim. Despite these mitigating circumstances, the court found the man guilty and imposed a sentence of 6 months imprisonment with serving in a high-security correctional colony.
