Yoshkarolin man convicted of murder in a bar
A resident of Yoshkar-Ola received nine years of strictness for the murder of a stranger in a bar.

On July 31 this year, two visitors to a bar in the Mari capital quarreled. One of them took a knife and stabbed the other in the neck, damaging the carotid artery.
Immediately after that, the man threw the knife and pinned the wound on the victim’s throat with a towel, although it was impossible to save him. He stayed there until the police arrived.
In court, the 43-year-old defendant fully admitted his guilt. The court found him guilty of murder and sent him to a maximum-security colony for nine years, the joint press service of the Mari El courts reported.
The sentence has not entered into force.
