During the day in the Smolensk region eliminated one fire

Employees of fire and rescue units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Smolensk region eliminated the consequences of a man-made fire in a food store located on Petr Alekseev Street in the city of Gagarin. In addition, in Yartsevo on the prospectus of Metallurgists in one of the apartments of a five-storey residential building was recorded burning food. In this case, the help of fire fighters was not required, because the tenants eliminated the threat on their own before the arrival of rescuers.

Emergency services also responded to traffic accidents in the region. In Yartsevo on the street Central cars and trucks moved into the ditch, which led to the rollover of the heavy truck. There were no casualties as a result of the accident, and fire safety at the site of the event was provided by four employees of the EMERCOM of Russia on one unit of specialized equipment.

No accidents were recorded at the water bodies of the region. In general, the operational situation in the Smolensk region remains stable and controlled, which indicates the high readiness of emergency services to respond quickly to domestic and transport incidents.
