A resident of Bryansk received five years in prison for deception during the repair of housing

A 31-year-old resident of Bryansk received five years in a general regime colony for fraud while performing repair work. According to the investigation, the man stole more than 2 million rubles from customers.

From 2022 to 2024, he concluded contracts for the construction and repair of residential premises with residents of Bryansk and the region. However, the obligations were not fulfilled in full, and the money received was appropriated.

On October 14, the court found the man guilty of eight counts of fraud. He was sentenced to five years in prison while serving his sentence in a general regime correctional colony. The court also granted the civil claim.
