A resident of Sovetsk decided to earn on a rented bicycle and got caught by the police

In Sovetsk 36-year-old man rented a bicycle for 55 thousand rubles, sold it and spent the money. Police detained him at the airport as he was about to leave the Kaliningrad region.

An employee of a bicycle rental shop contacted the police. According to preliminary data, the man initially did not intend to return the bike. After the lease, he sold it and kept the money.

Police found the suspect and detained him before leaving.

The man was charged with fraud. He faces up to two years in prison.
