A resident of Sverdlovsk became a victim of Internet fraudsters, having lost 800 thousand rubles in the pursuit of easy earnings on the crypto exchange. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the LPR, the attackers acted according to the classic scheme: a 43-year-old man met a girl on a social network who offered income from trading digital assets. Having received the contacts of the “broker”, the victim, on his instructions, made a number of bank transfers.
When it was not possible to withdraw funds, and the citizen refused from new contributions, communication with the curator was cut off. A criminal case has been opened on the theft.
In connection with another such incident, law enforcement officers urge residents not to transfer money to strangers and carefully check any financial offers on the network.
Earlier in the Sledkom DND told about the attacker, who because of the quarrel wounded three people with an explosive object.
