A resident of the Altai Territory was detained with a tree-like bush of dope grass
In the Altai region, a 34-year-old local resident received three years of “conditions” for illegal possession of drugs on a large scale. The man was detained near the railway stretch Slavgorod - Red Dol with a bush resembling a dope grass.
According to the press service of the transport police of Siberia, the attention of law enforcement officers attracted a man who stood near the railway and was nervous. He had a bush with him, which reminded the police of a drug-containing plant.
The man was taken to the duty station and conducted a personal search, during which a certain substance of plant origin was seized. The find was submitted for research. The examination confirmed that the seized plant is a narcotic drug weighing 246 grams.
On the fact of illegal storage of prohibited substances on a large scale opened a criminal case under part 2 of article 228 of the criminal code. The court found the man guilty and sentenced him to three years of probation with a probation period of one and a half years.
The sentence has entered into force.
