The agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Ghana on visa-free travel on diplomatic and service passports (hereinafter referred to as the agreement) was signed in Minsk on June 8, 2026 in order to intensify cooperation between the two countries and simplify official travel of citizens of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Ghana with valid diplomatic and service passports.

According to Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Pavel Utyupin, the agreement provides that citizens of Belarus and Ghana, holders of valid diplomatic and service passports, are exempt from the need to obtain visas for entry, stay, exit and transit through the territory of the state of the other party for a period of not more than 30 days from the date of entry. The total duration of their visa-free stay in the territory of the state of the other party should not exceed 90 days in one calendar year.

Each Party reserves the right to refuse entry or to shorten the period of stay of a national of the State of the other Party if such a national is inadmissible or recognized as persona non grata.
