Check of combat readiness in Belarus continues in the air force and air defense forces
Oleksandr Volfovich said that the Ministry of Internal Affairs and one of the tank battalions of the mechanized brigade had previously been checked.

In Belarus, on behalf of the Head of State, the combat readiness check of the Air Force and air defense forces continues. This was announced by the State Secretary of the Security Council Alexander Wolfovich, BelTA reports.
According to the Secretary, recently completed the inspection of the Ministry of internal Affairs, and last week suddenly checked one of the tank battalions of the mechanized brigade, the tasks of which the servicemen coped “quite decently.” A more detailed analysis of the results is still underway and will be reported to the President.
Alexander Wolfovich stressed that one of the most important branches of the Armed Forces is being tested. In peacetime, the Air Force and Air Defense Forces are on combat duty and guard the air borders not only of Belarus, but also the outer perimeter of the Union State. Therefore, they must be ready at any time to cover critical facilities from sudden threats.
He also added that in a broad sense, the Belarusian Air Force and air defense troops protect the Western strategic direction within the framework of the CSTO.
