Despite the November cold snap, at the shelves of the fair on the street. Russianova 1, crowded November 8: Minsk residents come not only for agricultural products, but also for special mood, communication and useful advice, reports the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.
It seems that shopping arcades have long turned into interactive platforms where you can taste the goods and learn the secrets of its storage. Tents with honey work in mini-lecture mode. Sellers willingly share life hacks.
- Honey is better stored in a glass jar with a tightly closed lid, in a dry dark place, Tamara advised. Do not put it next to spices: it instantly absorbs other flavors. And no overheating, otherwise you will lose all the benefits.
The cost of honey depends on its weight and type, an average of 20 BYN per kilogram.
Just next door, an expert discussion broke out about apples, the price of which does not fall below 2 BYN per kilogram. Buyers are patiently explained what features each variety has:
- Antonovka is dense, fragrant, with sourness. It's perfect for pies, jam and pee. And "gala" is sweet and juicy, eat it for nothing. The "scarb" flesh is dense, these apples are stored best of all.

In the leaders of autumn sales - potatoes, nuts and seasonal berries. Sellers are using interactive marketing.
- Take the nuts, they break well! the trader calls, cracking two walnuts and stretching them for a try.
By the way, the price for them is kept at the same level: walnuts give an average of 11 BYN per kilogram, forest hazelnuts - 30 BYN.

The excitement is observed at the cranberry counters. It costs 10 to 15 BYN per kilogram.
- I always take a lot for the winter, shared the buyer Victoria. And freeze, and grind with sugar, and just pour boiling water. The best vitamins in the cold. I'm not going to get sick!
Prices at the fair are pleasing: for vegetables and fruits they are often a couple of rubles lower than on the popular Komarovka. However, the cost depends on the manufacturer, but for many buyers a few pennies the difference does not play a role if there is a “own” person behind the counter.
- I usually go through the whole row first, I check. But if the seller is soulful and sociable, tells you where the product comes from and how to prepare it, I can take a not the cheapest option. Sometimes I don't even take change. Good people are not sorry to overpay, I want to thank for their work, said Natalia.

Conversations, smiles and a warm attitude to each other turn ordinary shopping at home into a pleasant autumn ritual.
