On October 8, the capital noted an unusual figure: 10 million chebureks have been sold in three retail chains of one of the largest retailers in Belarus since the beginning of the year. According to the company, now buyers buy about 1.2 million of these products per month, the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.
The reason for meeting in the space of ready-made food on the eve. Independence, 48, was a ten-million dollar sale. Here they organized a tasting and awarded commemorative diplomas to specialists who work on the product, as well as the head of the shopping facility.
Such volumes show how popular the usual hot snack is. The company associates demand primarily with taste and affordable price. At the same time, for an externally simple dish - several months of development.

Six months on prescription
According to experts, the recipe worked out for six months. Each week, samples were prepared for tasting, options were compared and changes were made. In the end, we settled on a recipe with the addition of a certain type of beer.
The range of fillings was adjusted taking into account purchasing preferences. Of the nine introduced options, four were the most popular: with chicken, with pork, with brisket and cheese, with lamb.
Snack between study and work
Among the participants of the tasting were students, musicians of the Philharmonic, Minsk residents and tourists. Some already knew the product, others tried it for the first time.

Future programmers Masha and Lisa said that they come here after class. For one of the friends, Cheburek is a habitual snack on the way from college to the hostel. Constantine and Paul, working in the Philharmonic, on this day stopped by before training on badminton.

Tatiana and Eugene from St. Petersburg were at the tasting by accident. They arrived in Minsk for the first time, managed to visit Nesvizh and are already planning a new trip to Belarus. Having tried lamb chebureki, the guests remembered their trips to Samarkand, Tashkent and Almaty.
