Famous fitness coach of Petrozavodsk Alexander Lubnev urged men not to be afraid to be imperfect
46

I'm 46. And I learned that not a nice guy..
All my life I thought being a man meant being in control and comfortable. Well, there, dragging weights, solving problems, not whining and smiling when you want to send everyone to hell. I lived in an illusion, so it happened.
The last few weeks have shown me that I am not a robot. Tears, anger, confusion, strange thoughts. At one point, I just hugged my shoulders and said, “OK, Sanya, stop pretending.” And I didn’t pretend, it was done since childhood.
And you know what? It turns out that admitting your weakness is, man, the hardest job in 46 years. Much harder than 160kg on a barbell.
So hello. I am uncomfortable, imperfect, but alive and feeling.
All of you go into the room, and I'll move on. Different, I think.
Take care. And don’t be afraid to be a nice guy sometimes, Alexander said.
Overall, I agree.
