Finished products were seized from sale in Brest coffee shops, for which there were no documents on its quality and safety. This was reported by sb.by in the press service of the State Control Committee of Belarus.

The State Control Committee of the Brest region checked a number of catering facilities in Brest. Some of them revealed the sale of cakes, desserts and other finished culinary products without documents confirming its quality and safety. More than 10 kilograms of such products were withdrawn from sale.
The facts of the sale of opened food products (syrups, concentrates) were also established without specifying the date of the opening. This requirement is important in the context that the shelf life of these products is changed (reduced) after opening the package.
In addition, coffee beans were used and sold in coffee shops, which were marked with unified control marks, but information about these goods was not available in the information system for labeling goods. The turnover of such goods is prohibited on the territory of Belarus.
“According to the results of control by the owners, operational measures were taken to restore order,” the KGC said. More than 400 kilograms of food products withdrawn from sale in Mogilev
