Mother of four convicted in Dagestan for fraud with benefits
Untsukul district court sentences woman accused of fraud in receiving social benefits

The Unzukul district court sentenced a woman accused of fraud in receiving social benefits. This is reported by the joint press service of the courts of the Republic.
It was established that the defendant, who actually lived in Dagestan, for the sake of inflated monthly allowances for children, issued a fictitious registration in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and submitted false information about her place of residence to the Social Fund through State Services.
As a result, in 2024, she was appointed and paid benefits at the tariffs of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, which are much higher than the Dagestani ones: 1,013,136 rubles were received on the account.
The legal right of the defendant to receive benefits at the place of actual residence was 659 760 rubles, so the amount of damage caused to the state - the amount of the illegally received difference - amounted to 353 376 rubles, which is a large amount.
In court, the woman pleaded guilty to theft of the difference, repented and voluntarily reimbursed 353 thousand rubles. The court took into account mitigating circumstances: the presence of four minor children, two of whom are minors, active assistance in solving the crime, voluntary compensation for damages and no criminal record.
As a result, the woman was fined in the amount of 120 thousand rubles. The civil suit of the prosecutor was partially satisfied - the remaining unrefunded amount was recovered from the convicted in favor of the Social Fund.
