The sentence of the 47-year-old previously repeatedly convicted citizen, who evaded reimbursement of expenses spent by the state for the maintenance of her four children on state support, told the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti” in the Prosecutor’s office of Pervomaysky district.

The accused has two sons and two daughters, who due to the inappropriate lifestyle of the mother were on state support. The woman is deprived of parental rights. On the basis of the ruling on the court order, she must reimburse the costs of their maintenance, but she did so irregularly, and therefore she was repeatedly prosecuted.
The defendant employed a worker in one of the state organizations. But the woman regularly allowed absenteeism for disrespectful reasons, which entailed incomplete fulfillment of the monthly obligations to reimburse the expenses spent by the state on the maintenance of her children. She hasn't been to work 185 times in a year.
Employees of the enforcement department repeatedly warned her of responsibility. Another criminal case was opened against the Minsk woman.
In the court hearing, the defendant fully admitted guilt, repented of what she had done, explaining that she did not go to work because she did not like it.
- The accused is a widow, previously five times brought to criminal responsibility for committing similar crimes, commented the assistant prosecutor of Pervomaisky district Christina Prishchepova, acting as the state prosecutor in the criminal case. - The court found her guilty of committing a crime under Part 3 of Art. 174 of the Criminal Code ("Deviation of parents from maintaining children or from reimbursement of expenses spent by the state for the maintenance of children who are or were on state support"), and, taking into account the previous sentence, imposed a final sentence of imprisonment for a term of 1 year 6 months, which the accused will spend in a correctional colony under general regime. In addition, she must undergo compulsory treatment for chronic alcoholism.
