The Ministry of Health checked the clinic No. 14 in Yekaterinburg after complaints from citizens

On behalf of the Deputy Governor – Minister of Health of the Sverdlovsk region Tatiana Savinova, specialists of the regional Ministry of Health conducted an extraordinary inspection of the clinic of the State Clinic No. 14 in Yekaterinburg. The reason for the inspection was the publication in the local public: citizens complained of long queues and a long wait for admission, the press service of the Ministry of health of the Sverdlovsk region.
During the inspection, representatives of the Ministry of Health assessed the organization of the registry and emergency care. In the morning, the clinic had five registries windows and two administrators – they helped visitors to register through the infomat and advised on issues. A terminal is installed for self-recording in the hall. During periods of peak workload, the staff of the registry is increased to nine employees.
Representatives of the Ministry personally checked the electronic record system. At 09:50, they took a ticket to the registry – the queue was 22 people, and after 10 minutes, visitors were invited to a specialist. The second attempt at 10:01 showed a reduction in the queue to 7 people, and the waiting time was reduced to a few minutes.
For patients with signs of SARS in the clinic, an emergency department with a separate entrance is open. At the time of the inspection, there were three rooms in operation; with an increase in the flow of patients, it is possible to open another two. At 10:06 in the corridor were three people filling out consent forms, doctors were ready to receive. At the same time, two emergency teams were working on the road.
A small number of visitors were also recorded in the department for chronic patients: at 10:12 in the lobby were four people, while four rooms functioned.
In addition, the clinic has a telemedicine consultation room - it is intended for patients with symptoms of SARS, as well as for the extension and closure of disability leaves. The paramedic is here. The outpatient service has already received 30 sets of equipment for telemedicine consultations: 12 of them were transferred to district therapists, 8 to narrow-profile doctors, the rest are in the process of distribution.
Tatiana Savinova noted that in autumn we traditionally have a seasonal increase in viral infections, and the number of applications of residents to clinics increases and the work is organized so that the patients were comfortable.
“There were no large queues at the clinic of the State Clinical Hospital No. 14 at the time of the inspection, the process of providing medical care was effectively built. In addition, it is possible to resolve some issues remotely, through telemedicine consultation. I will continue to keep the situation under control, Tatiana Savinova stressed.
144 thousand people are attached to GKB No. 14 - all of them receive outpatient care in this clinic.
Earlier, “MK-Ural” wrote that in the framework of the project “Polyclinic”. Reboot in participating clinics significantly reduced waiting times: appointment to the therapist – from 10 to 1.6 days, to the pediatrician – from 4.9 to 1.1 days, to narrow specialists – from 53 to 11.7 days. The waiting time at the office was reduced from an hour to 11.4 minutes, emergency care - from 210 to 43 minutes. By the end of 2026, the basic standard will be implemented in all 93 clinics of the project.
