The republican information and educational campaign “Belarus adzynaya” was held at the Krichev State Agrarian and Construction College on September 14, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.
Instead of the usual lecture, the speakers communicated with the students on an equal footing, using simple language and interactive elements. The meeting began with a symbolic gesture: the participants were given apples - whole and halves. It helped to start a conversation about what unity is. The students’ answers ranged from “team” and “commonwealth” to deeper concepts.

The speakers were the Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Belarusian Union of Women Evgenia Kalechits and Deputy Chairman of the Youth Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus Evgenia Sprut.
- The main goal of our project is to convey to young people in simple words the whole essence and value of National Unity Day. For us, the main thing is that in each younger generation the spark of patriotism and true love for the Motherland burns. National Unity Day is a young holiday, but it has huge historical roots. Our task is to put everything on shelves, to interest the children in further study of history, Sprut said.

She also noted that modern youth, despite external shyness, strives for communication and unification - this is evident in the popularity of quizzes and quests.
- Young people should be trained. Perhaps it sounds pathetic, but this is how we can create a warm atmosphere and convey important meanings.
In turn, E. Kalechits stressed that the format of communication “without jackets, in hoodies” helps to find a common language with students.
