A press conference was held at the Smolensk Academy of Urban Planning and Architecture with the participation of freshmen who signed contracts on targeted training. During the meeting, the main conditions and advantages of this format of interaction were discussed in detail.
The target agreement is a tripartite agreement between the student, the educational institution and the enterprise. As part of this contract, the company undertakes to pay tuition or scholarship, while the student undertakes to serve the prescribed period after graduation. For future specialists of the construction industry, such a contract guarantees not only the first official workplace, but also the possibility of practicing at real facilities from the first year.
The process of practical training is organized in such a way that students from the very beginning of training go to production sites. There they work under the direct guidance of mentors assigned to them from the specialized enterprise.
Particular attention was paid to responsibility issues. In case of refusal of further work in the company, the student will need to reimburse the costs incurred for the payment of the scholarship. At the same time, it is emphasized that the main purpose of the contract is not a system of punishments, but ensuring the stability of the personnel of enterprises.
The first-year students themselves noted that they made the decision to sign the contract consciously. The opportunities for practical experience, financial support in the form of scholarships and clear career prospects were cited as the main factors contributing to this choice.
