Senator Shaykin gave an algorithm of actions in case of failures of online services
Deputy Chairman of the Council for the Development of the Digital Economy at the Federation Council Artem Sheikin explained how to save money, data and nerves when online platforms do not work.

A crashed website or app can take everyone by surprise, especially these days. In order not to aggravate the situation, Senator Artem Shaykin recommends acting in cold blood and according to plan.
1. Run a quick diagnosis.
Before you change settings or reinstall the app, check if other resources are opening. Look at the official social networks of the problem service: if they already report technical work, the best solution is just to wait.
2. Don't rush to repay.
If the screen “hangs” during the transfer of money or purchase, this does not mean that the transaction did not pass. Payment can be processed in the background. First, check the history of transactions in the banking application. If the funds are debited, and the service is not provided, take a screenshot of the error, save the check and the order number, and then contact the service and your bank.
3. Save the data.
Do you work with important online documents? At the first sign of instability, copy the text to a local file on the device. If due to a failure you do not have time to submit an application within the deadline, be sure to record the time and error code (this will serve as an excuse for delay) and clarify alternative methods of treatment.
4. Use digital hygiene.
Never click on third-party links with promises to “restore access quickly”, do not download unfamiliar programs and do not dictate codes from SMS. Contact support only through the official website. In case of any suspicious charges, block the card immediately.
Advice for the future: save local copies of critical documents, download tickets and reservations in advance in memory of the phone, as well as save support numbers that can be dialed without the Internet. This simple habit will save you a lot of time in force majeure situations, writes “RG”.
