The shield "Maria" is approaching the "Komarovskaya". At what stage is the construction of new stations of the Zelenoluga metro line

Of the three metro stations under construction, the Peoples’ Friendship Park has a high degree of readiness, Komarovskaya is slightly behind in performance, and Perespa closes the rating. This became known on October 7 during a meeting led by the Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev, reports the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

The construction of three new stations of the Zelenoluzhskaya metro line continues in the capital. Two mechanized tunnel complexes "Alesya" and "Maria" are responsible for their connection. The latter, by the way, took up business in May 2026, and by the end of July it had overcome the first 277 meters.

- Initially, the shields started moving from the Peoples’ Friendship Park station to the city center, said Vasily Kosovets, General Director of Minsk Metrostroy. - "Alesya" is in the lead - almost approaches the hotel "Belarus". To be more precise, today the complex is located under the crossroads of Masherov Avenue and St. Storozhovskaya - just where the tramways turn. "Maria" is approaching "Komarovskaya" under the street M. Bogdanovich. There are about 150 meters left to the station. By the way, the station complex "Komarovskaya" will be located under the intersection on the street M. Bogdanovich and V. Horuzhy. We assume that the shield will reach this point within a month.

V. Kosovets added that the company has already received the rails.

- We began to cook them in whips, later we intend to start laying them in tunnels, the general director of Minskmetrostroy said. This work is also going to be carried out from the Friendship Park of Peoples towards Komarovskaya.

By the way, behind the station "Friendship Park of Peoples" there are reverse dead ends, where trains will unfold. These structures are assembled by more than 80%. In 2026, they are going to be completed, the builders even began backfilling the soil in some areas.

- The station itself is quite long. Today we are working on the first lobby with two entrances, one of which will be located near the fast food restaurant, the second across the street. From the lobby “descended” below: the tunnel detachment is already collecting monolithic structures, explained V. Kosovets. In November 2026, we plan to change the traffic around the Peoples’ Friendship Park for all transport. Automobile traffic in this part of the city will return to normal after the final decisions on the fourth line of the subway are made.

As for Perespa, now experts are engaged in water reduction. The device "wall in the ground" (enclosing structure of the pit) is made by 50%.

- Until we finish with the tunnels, the technology does not allow us to take up the station in full force, said the general director of Minskmetrostroy. However, preparatory work is underway, detours are made, the town stands. We assume that the construction will enter the active phase in March 2027.

If we talk about the station "Komarovskaya", the special complex completes the device of enclosing structures ("walls in the ground"). In about two months, he will complete the work and go to Perespa. By the end of the year, the development of a pit for the construction of Komarovskaya will begin.

Moreover, the builders promise in the spring of 2027 to partially begin the restoration of the pavement in the excavation sites. The first section, where the usual movement will be resumed, will be the segment of M. Bogdanovich Street between Nekrasov Street and Surganova Street.

Due attention is paid to the fourth (ring) metro line. It is expected that in the second half of 2027, "Alesya" will begin to work under the street. Orlovskaya in the direction of Vesnyanka, a little later the second tunnel behind her will go "Maria". The length of the section with the first three stations will be 6 km.

At the moment, the status of the deepest station of the Minsk metro belongs to Jubilee Square. However, it is expected that in the foreseeable future, the palm of the championship will be intercepted by the Peoples’ Friendship Park.
