The court reinstated a medical registrar with 25 years of experience in the Yuryev-Polish CRB

The Yuryev-Polish district court found illegal the dismissal of an employee of the central district hospital, who worked as a medical registrar for a quarter of a century. The court decided to return the woman to her former place and pay her 50 thousand rubles for moral damage. This was reported by the joint press service of courts of general jurisdiction of the Vladimir region.

The employee was dismissed in April 2026 due to the reduction of staff. She considered the actions of the employer illegal and went to court. In the lawsuit, the woman demanded to restore her position and recover 250 thousand rubles in compensation.

According to the plaintiff, the hospital management did not comply with the reduction procedure: it did not make a proper comparison of the qualifications and productivity of employees holding similar positions, and did not offer her available vacancies. As a confirmation of her position, she pointed to 25 years of continuous experience, secondary professional and additional specialized education, gratitude for conscientious work and the absence of disciplinary penalties.

Having studied the materials of the case, the court found violations of labor legislation during the reduction, including the rules for determining the preferential right to retain a workplace. As a result, the woman was reinstated, and the amount of compensation for moral damage was determined at 50 thousand rubles - less than the amount she requested.

The decision to reinstate work is immediately enforceable. However, the judicial act has not yet entered into legal force.
