Taxi in Orenburg rose to 1,270 rubles: drivers can not withdraw money
Taxi prices in Orenburg began to shock

The aggregators have problems, and some drivers refuse to go on the line. According to them, they can not withdraw earned funds from the application starting from October 10. This money can not even fill up the car, let alone wash it. Some drivers go to other taxi applications, where the commission of the aggregator is much lower.
What does this mean for drivers and passengers? For a passenger, a trip in similar applications is cheaper by about 30% than a taxi, which is used to most. For the driver, the amount is the same - due to the fact that the commission of the aggregator is three times lower. That is, the flow of drivers to alternative services is economically logical, they lose less, and passengers pay less.
What happened on October 10th and 11th? Residents of the region could not order a taxi. The number of complaints about the work of music services has also increased. Some large companies have had their databases in the cloud damaged, and now they have to recreate everything. On the third day, the app says, “There may be difficulties with the app.” We're already fixing.”.
What does the company say? They assure that all earned funds are taken into account and drivers will be able to withdraw them a little later, but when exactly – not reported.
There are two layers of problems. The first is technical, the failure of the aggregator turned not only into the inability to order a car, but also the fact that drivers were left without access to their money. This is no longer an “inconvenience”, but a direct loss of earnings, because of which people go to competitors. The second is market, as soon as the commission of alternative services is three times lower, drivers flow there, and with them - and passengers who see the difference in price. If the aggregator doesn't get back to work soon, some of that overflow could become irreversible - people get used to new apps quickly, especially when it's cheaper there. And a separate point, passengers note that drivers are more willing to take orders with cash, as non-cash funds can not withdraw for the fourth day.
Have you noticed the rise in taxi prices? And have you tried the alternative apps drivers are talking about?
