The precinct was arrested in the case of a deadly fire at the pyrotechnics enterprise in Kubrinsk

In the Yaroslavl region, the court sent into custody a precinct police officer passing the defendants in a criminal case about a fire at the pyrotechnics production in the village of Kubrinsk. On the chosen measure of restraint told TASS lawyer Sergey Fedorov.

According to the lawyer, the investigation requested the arrest of a police officer. He was charged with abuse of office under Article 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. At the same time, according to the lawyer, the accused does not admit his guilt.

The fire at the factory for the production of firecrackers occurred on September 28. As a result of the tragedy, 14 people died. The circumstances of the incident and the possible role of the defendant are established within the framework of the investigation.
