In St. Petersburg, eight final bus stations were converted to a new standard, providing comfortable conditions for drivers to rest. The updated infrastructure is used daily by more than two thousand people. This was reported in St. Petersburg GKU "Organizer of transportation".
The Ideal End Station project was launched in 2025. It provides for the modernization of turning areas and the arrangement of rooms with dining rooms, showers, rest rooms and medical offices. Now the renovated stations serve 67 bus routes, on which about 10 thousand flights are performed daily.
Director of SPb GKU "Transport Organizer" Vitaly Voynov noted that the main task of the project is to create a single standard of working and rest conditions for drivers. In the future, more than 40 end stations are planned to be modernized in St. Petersburg.
