The results of nine months of food monitoring conducted on the territory of the Upper Volga region were reported by the Rosselkhoznadzor Office in the Tver and Yaroslavl regions.
In just nine months of 2026, 221 samples of food products were selected and sent for study in the region. According to the results of inspections, 62 samples were recognized as not meeting the established quality and safety requirements.
Various deviations were recorded in these samples. So, in 20 samples, impurities of vegetable oils and fats were found, that is, the replacement of animal fats with vegetable ones. In 35 samples, a discrepancy was found in the group of dangerous microorganisms, and in part of the products, unacceptable components were found, such as antibiotics, transglutaminase, inhibitory substances. Some samples had deviations in the mass fraction of calcium and phosphorus.
The Regional Office of Rosselkhoznadzor emphasizes that the situation remains under the control of the relevant supervisory authorities. The results of the studies serve as the basis for operational measures: withdrawal of a batch of products from circulation, suspension of declarations of conformity, unscheduled inspections.
