Resident of Kalanchak district received a sentence for theft from the house

Chaplyn Interdistrict Court of Kherson region has issued a verdict in a criminal case initiated by the investigator of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Kalanchak” against a 35-year-old local resident. The man was found guilty under part 3 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - theft committed with illegal penetration into the home and causing significant damage.

It was established that the convict penetrated through the window into a residential building in one of the villages of the Kalanchak district and stole property, causing the victim significant material damage in the amount of 13 thousand rubles.

During the judicial investigation, the man fully admitted guilt and repented of what he had done. Taking into account the opinion of the prosecutor, the court imposed a punishment of imprisonment for 3 years 1 month with serving in a general regime correctional colony.
