The medalist of the European Championship in synchronized swimming Sarah Maria Ricea became the winner of the contest “Miss Italy-2026”. This is reported by Sportmediaset.
Ricea was among the 16 finalists for the contest as Miss Liguria.
18-year-old Ricea is a titled athlete. Among her most significant successes are the silver of the 2024 European Championships in Belgrade (in the technical program of mixed duets with Filippo Pelati) and the bronze of the World Junior Championships in Lima, won the same year.
At the World Cup stages, the synchronist has one silver and three bronzes. At the recent 2026 European Championships in Paris, she was in the main team as the first substitute - both in team competitions and in duets with Enrique Piccoli and Lucrezia Ruggiero.
