Three-time Russian champion Adelia Petrosyan will perform at the fourth stage of the Grand Prix of the International Skating Union (ISU) in the United States. Her name appeared in the application for the tournament on the ISU website.
Skate America will take place in Everett, Washington, from November 13-15. For Petrosyan, this will be the first top tournament of the ISU since the Olympics-2026, where it was the sixth.
In early October, Petrosyan won silver at the tournament of the second most important Challenger series in Batumi, where she lost only to the Estonian figure skater Nina Petrykina. Also, the skater announced for the sixth stage of the Grand Prix in Tokyo, which will be held from 27 to 29 November.
Of the Russian skaters on Skate America will also perform Alexander Trusov (after the marriage of Ignatov).
The ISU allowed Russians to attend their competitions in a neutral status, but so far they have a limited number of quotas for major tournaments due to the lack of rating points.
