Airline withdraws 7C seat in honor of Cristiano Ronaldo
Transavia has decided to exclude from sale the 7C seat on its flights to Funchal on the island of Madeira, in honor of Cristiano Ronaldo, who finished his career with the Portuguese national team

Dutch airline Transavia has retired the 7C seat from the planes heading to Funchal in honor of footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, who retired from the Portuguese national team. Transavia reported this on Instagram (owned by Meta, the company is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).
"CR7 is hanging boots on a nail and 7C seats are disappearing from our flights to Funchal," it said.
Funchal is Ronaldo’s hometown in Madeira and the airport is named in his honor.
41-year-old Ronaldo, who plays at number seven, November 5 announced his retirement from the national team of Portugal. He was captain of the national team for 18 years. In total, the five-time winner of the Golden Ball has 146 goals in 234 matches for the national team.
