“Automobile” confidently beat “Barys” in the home arena – 4:1

HC "Automobileist" confidently took over in the game with the Astana "Barys". The match of the Fonbet regular championship of the Kontinental Hockey League season 2026/2027 was held in Yekaterinburg at the UMMC Arena stadium on October 26. The meeting ended with a score of 4: 1 in favor of the owners of the ice, the press service of HC "Automobile".

Already in the first period, the "Automobileist" issued a solid advantage. In the 13th minute (12:48) striker Maxim Tarasov opened the scoring - he was assisted by Kashtanov and Denezhkin. After just two minutes (14:17), forward Daniel Spong doubled the lead: Clag and Eudin made an effective pass. And in the 22nd minute (21:03) when playing in the majority (5×4) Roman Gorbunov brought the score to 3:0 - Kadeikin and Gross participated in this goal.

Barys was able to change the score only in the middle of the third period: in the 40th minute (39:05) defender Jake Massey reduced the gap, receiving assists from Pylon and Prisca. But after seven minutes (46:30) defender Jordan Gross restored the difference in three goals – assistants were Golyshev and Karpukhin. The final score is 4:1 in favor of “Automobilist”.

I want to once again thank the fans for their support. I hope this will continue. As for the game, in principle, we are happy with the result and the content of the match. But there were times when we made the wrong decisions that sometimes made it difficult for us to play.
