Football club "Irtysh" will receive 50 million rubles as a subsidy from the Ministry of Sport of the Omsk region for financial support of its statutory activities. The results of the selection are published in the protocol posted on the agency’s website.
Irtysh sent a repeated application for a subsidy on November 3. This time the documents were selected. The initial application, filed on October 28, was rejected due to tax arrears.
The issue with the debts of the club previously caused the tax service to go to court. On October 30, the Interdistrict Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service No. 20 in the Saratov region filed an application to the Arbitration Court of the Omsk region to declare the Irtysh football club bankrupt. The amount of debt was 11.7 million rubles.
Later, the general director of the club Kirill Yagodka announced the repayment of the debt. After that, the tax office asked the court to leave the bankruptcy application without consideration.
