Rolling is a special time for all skiers. Thousands of athletes flock to areas where there is already snow in October-November to hold the first gathering in the snow. Literally, they roll into the season, which is why the collection is called "wokatka". And it is very important for the transition to full-fledged ski training, because even if you skied all summer on rollers, the feeling in the snow will be completely different.
Skiers of Karelia are still waiting for the first snow cover, but the junior team of Russia in biathlon is already at the “roller” in Khanty-Mansiysk.
According to the Karelia Biathlon Federation, the country’s team includes an athlete from Petrozavodsk, master of sports of Russia – Ekaterina Lyangina.
The next rally during the rolling period will be held in Tyumen, and then biathletes will open the winter competitive season at the end of November - in Uvat.
