At the Minsk Half Marathon – 2026 30 thousand participants will perform

The most massive running event of the country will be held in the capital on September 6. Professionals, amateurs and children will perform at five distances of the Minsk Half Marathon - 2026, the correspondent of the Minsk Novosti agency reports.

Every year, organizers add innovations, and 2026 is no exception. For example, the numbers of women and men will differ in color: the first – yellow, the second – white. The award zone will move to the field of the Dynamo stadium (last year it was on the tracks). The family race is divided into three separate starts for the first time. With an interval of 15 minutes, children 10-12 years old will go to a 1.5-kilometer distance, then 7-9 years old, and then 6 years old and younger. The prize fund has grown to $20,000.

Registration for all distances ended on Friday, August 28. Those who did not have time to buy a slot can come at a distance or in the starting town to support participants. At the half marathon, runners from 40 countries will perform.

Traditionally, every finisher will receive a medal. It depicts architectural sights that meet on the route. A bagel-shaped reward can be used as a photo frame. In the finishing town at the Dynamo Stadium on September 6, an engraving zone will work for applying the name and personal result.

Men’s and women’s dressing rooms with showers are located in the subtribune of the stadium (entrance from the warm-up field). Old-timers are advised to come in sports uniform, so as not to waste time changing clothes. Don't leave things unattended. Storage chambers are organized on the upper tier.

On the day of the Minsk Half Marathon, there will be a rich program for those who do not participate in the races. For adherents of healthy lifestyle in the stadium "Dynamo" at 9:00 will begin a large sports festival "movement FEST" from the Presidential sports club (end at 18:00). The space will be divided into three zones - active (dance directions, crossfit), soft (yoga, stretching, kung fu) and yard (table tennis, armwrestling, wooden games, aerobics of the 1980s). Participants of the festival, who will register on the sports website for all.Belarus (section "Motion Picture FEST"), will be able to participate in the draw of the Geely EX2 car. In addition, at stake will be 5 bicycles, 9 simulators, 10 fitness bracelets. Sites with photo zones, competitions, spaces for creativity and recreation will be presented by other partners of the Minsk Half Marathon. Of course, the food court will open.

Remember that the races are divided by time. At 9:00, participants will leave the start for 10 km. Exactly one hour later, a similar procedure awaits those who will perform at 21,097 km. Further in the program - 5 km (13:00), 3 km (14:00), 1.5 km and family runs (15:00).
