In the Tyumen region, on November 7 and 8, the student hockey team Gazovik-TIU will hold a home series of matches of the SHL championship against the Chelyabinsk UralSUFK - the games will be held on the ice of the Alfer sports complex in Yalutorovsk (15 Komsomolskaya Street), where many fans traditionally gather.
Schedule of meetings: November 7 at 19:00 and November 8 at 12:30. For Gazovic, the season 2026/2027 is special - the club turns 10 years old. By the start, the Tyumens are in good shape: five players and head coach Yuri Smirnov recently won the bronze of the Opening Cup of the SHL as part of the Urals national team.
The confrontation between Tyumen and Chelyabinsk is considered a classic of student hockey. This season, the teams play in the new divisional format of the SHL - they will play in four circles, which makes every point scored in the regular season especially valuable.
