US President Donald Trump has said a deal with Iran could be reached after the United States midterm elections in November. According to him, the Iranian authorities still refuse the proposals of the American side, because they are waiting.
“They are waiting for me to prove myself in the midterm elections. What they don't understand is that I'm not running. I have already done this and won a convincing victory, Donald Trump said during a speech at the UN General Assembly.
He said he had “immediately started negotiations with Iran” and offered them “full economic cooperation in exchange for curtailing their nuclear program and ending support for terror.” At the same time, the US president expressed confidence that next time they will not reject the proposal for a deal.
