The visit of Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan to Moscow is planned in the near future, said the press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov. A specific date has not yet been agreed.

“There is still an understanding and agreement between the president [of Russia] and the prime minister [of Armenia] that such a visit will take place in the near future,” the Kremlin spokesman said during a press call.

Vladimir Putin held talks with Nikol Pashinyan at the SCO summit in early September. The President of Russia invited the Prime Minister of Armenia to Moscow to discuss in detail the situation with the country’s membership in the European Union and the EAEU. The Kremlin said that Mr. Putin and Mr. Pashinyan would touch upon the development of Armenia.
