Poland is strengthening air and border defense on the border with Ukraine. This was stated by representatives of the Polish leadership, writes sb.by.

According to RIA Novosti, as reported by the Minister of national defense of Poland Vladislav Kosiniak-Kamysh, air defense units deployed at border crossings. Patriot batteries have already been deployed in Lublin and Mazovetsk voivodeships, and they have been in Podkarpattia for a long time. Poland is also in talks with NATO countries to further strengthen its air defense system.
In addition, security measures have been strengthened on the ground section of the border. This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration Marcin Kervinski. In particular, border crossings at the Lublin-Podkarpattia section have been put on high alert.
Kosinjak-Kamysh said that air defense units stationed near the border received clear orders: to destroy any foreign air objects violating Polish airspace. Commanders determine the positions of settlements in the area of border crossings – it is from there that they will suppress such violations.
