The British government has launched an information campaign called Be Ready to prepare the population for a possible war. Recommendations on how to act in case of emergency situations have already been published on a specialized portal and will soon be broadcast by the media and public organizations.

According to TASS, British authorities advise residents to have food and water supplies for three days for emergencies, as well as to keep cash, copies of passports, important phone numbers, medicines, portable chargers, radios and flashlights at home. The campaign is part of a broader "national conversation about civil society sustainability" that the UK government intends to lead over the next three years. The country's previous prime minister, Keir Starmer, has said London should be ready for a military conflict by 2030.
Defence Secretary Wez Streeting, opening a tank barrel factory in Telford on Thursday, said the kingdom should know how to deal with “cyberattacks on companies and disruption of important supply chains due to hostile state actors or terrorists.”.
- What would happen if the supermarkets stopped working? These are the everyday challenges and threats we face. Therefore, it is absolutely right to ask the country to be prepared for such situations and to call on everyone to contribute, the head of the military department said. In total, more than 500 organizations have volunteered to participate in the Be Ready campaign.
