Rubio spoke about the daily work of the team of specialists on the settlement of conflicts in Ukraine and Iran

According to TASS, in an interview with Fox News, he said:

- We have a team of specialists who deal with these issues on a daily basis [of the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict and the war with Iran]. There’s not a day that goes by that I’m not working on Ukraine, Iran or any other issues like that, and everyone is doing their part.

Rubio stressed:

- I have two jobs, so I have two roles. First, I coordinate interagency activities. After all, as you understand, working with Iran, with Russia and with Ukraine affects the Treasury, the War Department, the State Department and the entire intelligence community. All of this needs to be coordinated. That’s my role as National Security Assistant, and then there’s the role of the State Department, and I’m certainly responsible for that. So we all do different things.

The American diplomat added:

- As for Steve [Whitkoff] and Jared [Kushner], they are peace emissaries. Therefore, their attention is focused exclusively on the situation between Russia and Ukraine, on the Iranian issue.
